Empties 2017: March-June

Better late than never, right? I hope so because this is 4 months of empties that I’ve been procrastinating on or just simply did not have time to do. But I’m finally doing it, look at me go!

1. Live Clean Weightless Volume Shampoo: This does nothing for volume. Point blank. WNP
2. ION Color After-Color Sealer: I didn’t see any difference when I used this when dying my hair and didn’t seem to condition my hair very well either. WNP
3. L’oreal Feria Powder Shimmer Step 3: This is literally awful, why would you put this in a hair dye box? WNP
4. Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo(Travel size): This was nice, but it didn’t do anything magical for the price. WNP
5. Neutrogena All-In-One Makeup Remover Wipes: Holy Grail wipes, but they’re just so expensive. WP
6. Tonymoly Nose Pack Egg Pore: It was a nose strip, it was okay. WNP
7. Aritaum Tea Tree Solution: This was kinda neat, but all it did was make my nose soft, which other multiple-use products do, WNP
8. Naturally Upper Canada Vitamin C Sheet Mask: This was nice, but probably not any better than most cheap masks. I still have 4 left in the box to use. WNP
9. Karuna Exfoliating Face Mask: I liked this one, especially since t was half the price at Marshalls, but not enough to purchase directly from Sephora. MP
10. MJ Care Gold Essence Mask: This was surprisingly nice for being so cheap! WP
11. The Creme Shop Detoxifying Lemon Sheet Mask: It was nice, it worked really well to moisturize my skin. WP
12. First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser(Travel size): I really enjoyed this, but I know paying full price would hurt me too much. It had a thick texture that was actually really nice to use. MP
13. The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%: While it had a nice mattifying texture and was supposed to be super good for acne prone skin, this didn’t really do much. WNP
14. The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin + 2% HA: Now this, I love this! It keeps my skin slightly moisturized and smoothed as well as seems to help with my acne. Basically a new HG. WP
16. L’Oreal Voluminous Original: It’s okay, just not enough for what I want. WNP
17. Too Faced Mascara Melt-Off(sample): I really liked it, but I’m sure I could DIY a method of doing this same process with a disposable wand and some oil cleanser. WNP
18. Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara: I bought this because it was a holy grail for so many, but meh, it’s just a regular mascara. WNP
19. Too Faced Better Than Sex: Still an HG mascara for me. WP
20. Covergirl So Lashy: As much as I hated the ad campaign for it(as well as James Charles), I also hated this mascara. WNP
21. Rimmel Scandelyes Reloaded: Hated it. WNP
22. Manzhilian Tempting Black and Dense Mascara: I got this for extremely cheap at the Pacific Mall, which is great, but it didn’t really do much. I thought it might be a tubing mascara, but it was kind of like in the middle. It seemed to tube slightly but not really? I still wouldn’t repurchase. WNP
23. MUFE Ste 1 Smoothing Primer(Travel size): This was all right, but I just can’t seem to get pore filling primers to do anything for my pores. WNP
24. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: I actually miss this. Even though I felt like this didn’t do all that much to control oil, I really think it did. WP
25. Random Lip Balm: I got this at a romance writers convention last year and I love it. I have no idea where they got it from, but I want to buy twenty tubes of it. WP(somehow)
26. Random Hand Sanitizer: See above comment, got it from the same place. It was nice. WNP
27. Benefit Gimme Brow(sample): This was kinda fun to use, but the Essence one is just as good. WNP
28. Wet n Wild Shadow: I think this came from one of the rose gold three pan limited edition palettes they had a couple years ago. It was lovely to use, but it’s another taupe shadow gone! WNP
