Birthday Haul: Skincare + Haircare

Last one, I swear!

I’ll start with the large items, which are two Herbal Essences products, the Volumizing Souffle and Bombshell Babe Smoothing Mousse. Realistically I needed neither of these, but the fact they were on clearance and that my hair could use some help.

Along the same lines is the Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Heal and Seal Treatment. My hair is bleached beyond life, so something that may actually help it in any way is desperately needed.

Also needed is the Boo Berry Colour Prolong Colour Revitalizing Conditioning Treatment. Conditioning and colour preserving? Sign me up!

Moving on to skincare, I got the Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil, which was on clearance for 3,97$. I usually use cleansing balms to take my makeup off, but an oil sounds kind of nice for certain times.

Next is a set I bought for 6$ from Avene, the one for acne-prone adult skin. It comes with deluxe sized samples of the Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Skin Tone Perfector in Light, Cleanance Micellar Water and TriAcneal Expert. First off, the hydrator is tinted and is dark, which was why I never bought this kit before now, but I haven’t tried it on my skin so I can’t say for sure if it is not the product for me or not. The other two I am excited for!

Another ‘kit’ is the Sephora birthday gift, two deluxe sized samples from Caudalie. Both from the Vinoperfect line, the first is the Moisturizing Sorbet and the other is the Radiance Serum. I figured that the Tarte birthday gift would just sit around and never get used, so skin care is perfect.

Second to last item is another clearance item but from Shoppers. it’s the N7 Beautiful Skin T Zone Rescue. I’ve never tried anything from the brand before, as far as I can remember but I’ve always thought their skin care looked nice, just overpriced. But for 9$, I couldn’t pass up the chance to mattify my skin a little more.

For the last, I received a sample at the Sephora checkout, the  Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream. I haven’t had much luck with other Sunday Riley items, their lactic acid treatment smells something awful. So we’ll see how this one goes, at least it’s only a sample sachet.

And we finally reached the end! Kudos to those who read this entire post and the others. They were long, but I hope they were useful in some way or at least gave you some ideas as to what to buy next.
