New year, new plans, right? With the new year well under way, I should probably share my beauty resolutions for the year. But first, a look back at how I did on 2017‘s resolutions.
Now that my Project 100 Pan is over and done with, I need something new to focus on! I really loved this longer project pan as I was able to get so much out of my collection and see some really good use of products that I just wasn’t reaching for. To give myself a bit of a break this year, I thought I’d do a project that was a bit shorter but still quite a few months away. After I saw someone on r/makeuprehab post a project on finishing 25 products by the time they are 25, I knew that was where I would go this year.
For round 2 of the end of the year round-ups, it’s a small declutter! I won’t go on about this too much, I’ll leave that for other posts.
The year is over, and here’s my first wrap-up for 2017! I did something similar early on in the year, looking back at my 2016 purchases, so here we go again with 2017’s purchases.
I know I said I wouldn’t be buying too much for a little while, but we all have these moments where our conviction leaves us and we slip up. But, Shoppers was having a points weekend, something I wanted to buy at the VIB sale went out of stock and I was running low on something I use a lot. There, now it’s justified!
Another month gone, another empties post to make. Part of me is still surprised at the end of the month to see just how much stuff I’ve finished over 30 days. I remember finishing all of them, but there’s just something about seeing all of them together that still astounds me after all this time. Especially when there’s a powder product in there!
It’s been a while since I’ve shown what I’ve hit pan on and I do have a lot of new things. Even some eyeshadows!
With just over a month till this project ends, I thought I should give you an update!
Sorry for all the hauls lately, I’ve just been running out of staples and finally following through with wishlist baskets, which this post is all about! I don’t know how many times I’ve spent an hour or more building a basket of samples and other Asian Beauty and then promptly exited out when I see the cost. But, my current sunscreen is getting close to being done and I’m not entirely sure I want to repurchase it, especially seeing as though it’s difficult to get. Thus enters in my reason for this haul: a bunch of sunscreen samples, as well as other things I’ve either heard about, or thought sounded interesting.
Hello and welcome to fall, where it goes from 25 to 10 in the span of a day. I really can’t wait for the last few days of warm weather at the end of the month, but at least no one has to wait for my empties anymore!
